All the CNG filling stations of Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura and Sahiwal region remained closed on Monday to observe two weekly holidays announced by Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd. The gas supply to the CNG filling stations will berestored on Wednesday morning.
Ghayas Abdullah Paracha, Chairman of Supreme Council of All Pakistan CNG Association, said that due to very low gas pressure many CNG filling stationsof Lahore,Gujranwala, Sialkot and Sheikhupura had to remainclosed almost for five days a week. He said that CNG station owners had to face many problems in this situation and urged the government to take immediate steps to overcome gas shortage in the country.
